If a wine is fresh and i expect it to drink young, than I am looking for strong tannins that awakens the senses and tells me the wine has quite some life preceding itself. It really makes no difference if you are an expert in wine or a 3 day social drinker, getting the right wine glass is a might. Pork, on the other instrument hand, can be eaten with white or red.
